The annual City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Art Prize has grown over the past five years to become a eagerly awaited event on the arts calendar. Opening night brings record attendance, and the artworks themselves a culmination of the dazzling creativity of Australian artists from the Goldfields and beyond!
The Overall prize winner of 2009, "Subtle Strength" by Robyn Varpins was the centrepiece of the event marketing materials, a cameo appearance being filled with "Cheers Lil Bird" by one of the junior entrants.
Calypso Designs adapted the rich, textured graphics across posters, artwork entry form, newspaper advertisements, lanyards, sponsor banners, multipage catalogue of works, prize certificates, artwork purchase books and Opening Night invitations. |
