Calypso Designs was honoured to be invited by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder to produce the graphics and marketing materials for the wonderful Boulder and Kalgoorlie Town Hall 2008 Centenary Celebration events. Each celebration comprised an entire week of festivities, commemorating the relevance and importance of the Town Halls in community life in modern times and in days gone by.
Wanting to reflect the style of our time, whilst also giving a nod to the ornate graphical style of the early 1900's, Calypso Designs created custom illustrations of the Town Halls, emphasising the decorative architecture in vibrant, modern colours.
The graphics were translated for use across street banners, posters, multipage souvenir programmes, promotional DL flier, a series of newspaper advertisements, customised wine labels, thank you certificates, lanyards, visitor guestbooks and keepsake photo albums.
